Jeff Hort Engineering was incorporated in March 1995.The Business was set in Kenna Street Orange, New South Wales, with the aim of providing an engineering support service firstly into the rural industry and secondly into the then fledgling Mining Industry given that the proposed Cadia Mine was approved by Government.

From a small two person beginning, the Engineering Business has as at the 1st of July 2010 developed and diversified into an organisation providing Engineering Design and Drafting Services, Maintenance Services, Project Management, Planning and Site Installations, Maintenance Services, Fixed and Mobile Plant Component Rebuilds, Steel Fabrication and Welding, Plasma Cutting, Beam Saw Cutting, CNC Machining and Milling, Horizontal Boring, Fitting and Hydraulics, Wear Resistance Materials Applications including Rubber and Ceramic Lining.

Engineering Design and Drafting
Our team of fully qualified engineering staff have the tools, knowledge and experience to take your conceptual ideas to reality. Utilising "Inventor", a fully parametric three dimensional design software package from industry leader Autodesk. This software package allows not only advanced modelling and drafting of complicated dynamic models, but incorporates engineering calculation and design tools, plus a comprehensive components library.

Fabrication and Welding
All types of materials and welding techniques are catered for including Oxy, stick, pressure welds, GMAW (MIG) TGAW(TIG)welders.....no matter what size the job, from a tack weld to complex fabrication projects.
